Have a Slow Cooker?

If you answer no...go and buy one. This is a life saver kitchen toy for the working mother. I been trying to get one for a while and I finally got it.

I purchase Hamilton Beach 6-qt. Programmable Slow Cooker - 33966
The price is $49.99, but I got it at Target this past Thursday for $34.99 I am a bargain shopper and I don't go for the first thing of the shelve, I research the product and them pounce on a sale or close out.

Since I have never used any of this, I pick an easy recipe just in case it goes wrong I can fix it, but nothing to worry.

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

from Allrecipes.com
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Slow-Cooker-Meatballs/Detail.aspx

The only thing I did different was to baked the Meatballs for 15 minutes at 350 to cut on the grease. They turn out delicious.

Labor Day Weekend

A long weekend and a great one it was. I head to my mother on Saturday for a barbecue where we celebrate my sister in laws my mothers and my birthday. We are all august babies and it was the only time we could all get together. When I got there my grandmother told me we were going shopping. We went to a store and she told me that I have a $100 dollars spending limit, I was like ok that will buy me 2 pair of pants and 2 or three tops. I have completely forgotten that it was Labor Day weekend and that the stores usually have sales. I left the store with a Dress, 2 capris, one jean, a skirt and three tops all for $79 dollars. My grandmother was very please because she knows that the things I pick where things I like and I will wear. I am very picky with the clothing and she didn't feel comfortable picking it out herself. I try giving her back the change and she told me that the whole hundred was my present so I gave Jonah a dollar he bought himself an Ice Cream that his grandmother (my mom) has offer and them completely forgot and the rest I put on my vacation fund to take with me to the Dominican Republic this coming December.

We came back on Saturday night since my uncle offer us a ride and that will save me an hour underground on the train with a sleepy 2 year old, shopping bags and an umbrella stroller. I stitch a little bit on Circle des Cercles. I made a couple of sales at the Expo. Imagination was an instant hit which I am please and now I am working on others for my Quote Collection so be in the lookout for Excellence, Prayer and Integrity.

I am almost done with my forth reading of HP and the Deathly Hallows. I read the book in 24 hours from the moment I got it at the mid night release. Yes I did stop and slept. It was 24 hours on that weekend. After that I listen to the Audiobook slowly and I started reading the whole series again. My next reading will be to finish The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and the rest of the Chronicles.

You scored as Albus Dumbledore. You are very wise, observant, and analyctical. You have a very "well-organized" mind, which makes you function in a calm and fair manner. Though you get angered easily, its rare of you to ever act our of temper. You are constantly seeing the good in people and are naturally forgiving because of it. Which Mix of the Hogwarts Houses Are You?

I can live with this one

Which Mix of the Hogwarts Houses are You?

You're a Gryffinclaw!: You are a determined and intelligent person who is used to getting your own way all the time. You are very passionate about your beliefs and will defend them until your last breath. Often Griffenclaws work as lawyers or activists because they have feel so strongly about a certain subject. You feel that knowledge is to be used in a practical way and you often have a very low tolerance for people you consider of low intelligence. Although you aren't a social butterfly, you don't have trouble making fiends, people are usually drawn to you. Your weakness is that sometimes you can be insensitive, you're too busy being witty that you don't realize that you're hurting peoples' feelings, often your friends. With the wit of a Ravenclaw and the passion of a Gryffindor you can face all your battles in life head on!

Why you Check on Them

So...I am in the kitchen(pretending to cook), which it not to far from the living room and since Jonah was suppose to be watching Blues Clues and he gets very exited and repeats everything and find the clues and shots it to the top of him lungs, I though he wont be doing anything if I keep my eye off him for a while.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG...My husband was suppost to take the garbage out and although he manage to take everything out he forgot one bag. As I
was into my cooking (which I hate) I didn't hear a sound from the living room just the TV...I wonder what was he doing and this is what I found:
I got really upset, because I was about to put the cooking on hold to clean up the mess, but before that I took pictures to show it to my husband. Jonah got the longest timeout in History and my husband got punish as well. When I started cleaning the mess, the Vacuum  got clog and for although I try everything to unclog it I didn't succeed. When my husband got home from work he found the Ticket parade Jonah has done in the living room and without saying a word gave me a kiss and proceeded to  un -clog the Vacuum and clean the mess.

I have uploaded an update on CDC on its album.

Audiobooks

Did I say that Audio books were great........Well let me saying again. They are great. I finished the Da Vinci Code yesterday. While listening I cleaned, cooked, stitched, crocheted and even bathed Jonah. Before bed I pick up the book that sits on my night stand and continue with the reading of a chapter per night.

Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of intoxication with success
